Home Made Roasted Almond Butter!

Ever thought of making your own Almond butter at home? It is easier than you think.

Ingredients

  1. Raw Almonds – 1 cup
  2. Himalayan Pink salt – 1 pinch

Recipe 

  1. Roast the almonds for about 15 minutes on gentle heat. Be careful to not burn.
  2. Leave them for cooling for 30-45 minutes till they become crunchy.
  3. Pour the almonds into a hand chopper and chop into small bits. This step is necessary as home blenders often cannot grind whole almonds easily.
  4. Once the almonds are chopped, put them into a blender and blend for a few minutes. When you get the desired creaminess in the texture, top it with pink Himalayan salt and pack into an air tight jar.
  5. If you keep some kibbles of roasted almonds aside before blending, you can add them to the paste to get a crunchy experience.
  6. Enjoy with toast or straight from the jar!
