Home Made Roasted Almond Butter!
Ever thought of making your own Almond butter at home? It is easier than you think.
Ingredients
- Raw Almonds – 1 cup
- Himalayan Pink salt – 1 pinch
Recipe
- Roast the almonds for about 15 minutes on gentle heat. Be careful to not burn.
- Leave them for cooling for 30-45 minutes till they become crunchy.
- Pour the almonds into a hand chopper and chop into small bits. This step is necessary as home blenders often cannot grind whole almonds easily.
- Once the almonds are chopped, put them into a blender and blend for a few minutes. When you get the desired creaminess in the texture, top it with pink Himalayan salt and pack into an air tight jar.
- If you keep some kibbles of roasted almonds aside before blending, you can add them to the paste to get a crunchy experience.
- Enjoy with toast or straight from the jar!
